Originally from Boston, I currently reside in the beautiful city of Zürich, Switzerland. After many years as a creative director and designer for a large global agency and various in-house design teams, I decided to “go solo” and start my own freelance design business “Allison Sarno Design”.

 

This has enabled me to be hand’s on and focus on my passion for working with startups and emerging brands. It’s where I feel most creative and impactful. 

 

Since leaving those infamous agency “design decks” behind, I’ve had great success following a Design Thinking framework coupled with a “lean UX” approach. This framework and “design over documentation”  mantra has enabled me to help product teams and founders develop strong brands, MVPs and product enhancements in short time without sacrificing quality (or ink cartridges for that matter).

 

I'm also a proud mom of two incredible girls. I find joy in  art, photography, and exploring the outdoors in this breathtaking city I call home.
